Mission of World Arts West
Founded in 1978, World Arts West is a nationally-recognized leader in advocating for cultural arts communities. Serving the largest multicultural dance and music network in the United States, we are a wraparound cultural artist service provider based in San Francisco, serving as a hub for comprehensive capacity-building artist services. World Arts West pioneered the first city-sponsored multicultural dance festival in the USA. Now in our 45th year, we continue this legacy of presenting a vital platform for cultural artists to build recognition, visibility and intersectional solidarity.   

Vision of World Arts West
World Arts West’s long-term vision is to build a sustainable future for the world dance community by being the national thought leader, presenter, advocate, and service provider for the largest world dance network in the United States. World Arts West aims to work with artists, organizations, and communities to increase cultural competence and understanding as a foundational base for social justice. ​
