World Arts West Dance Festival

Save the date! – World Arts West Dance Festival is coming Sunday, September 10th! World Arts West continues to bring to the stage dances from around the world that reflect cultural and aesthetic values, wisdom and beauty, and the transmutation of survival to joy.

This year, thanks to Partnership for the Presidio, we’re presenting a FREE outdoor festival again! We’ll be at Presidio Tunnel Tops, East Meadow, 1 pm to 4 pm, with a new line-up of groups eager to share their artistry with you!
This year’s artists include Calpulli Tonalehqueh, Diamano Coura West African Dance Company, Melissa Cruz Flamenco, Mona Khan Company, Nicaragua Dance Ensemble, Ruth Asawa SF School of the Arts, Te Pura O Te Rahura'a, Winnie Wong, and Ilê Aiyê !

Join us for a FREE day of dancing in the park to celebrate diverse communities through the art of dance; enjoy fun interactive demos with festival artists; and grab a bite at one of the Presidio Pop Up’s yummy multicultural food trucks.
This event is a part of the Presidio Sunday Afternoons series hosted by Partnership for the Presidio.
