World Arts West
The WAW Cultural Dance Catalyst Fund is a new national grant initiative supported by The Wallace Foundation and in partnership with the National Arts Regranting Partners. This program aims to explore and advance equitable grant making practices in the creative sector, with a focus on supporting culturally-rooted dance companies. The WAW Cultural Dance Catalyst Fund offers general operating support and cohort-based engagement to under-resourced arts and culture organizations that support and uphold cultural dance communities.
In addition to funding, grantee partners will also participate in a virtual cohort engagement model, creating a national community of peer organizations. This cohort will be designed to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and mutual support among those committed to sustaining and creating arts and cultural spaces for cultural dance communities.
