Fundraising Season Has Begun!

Fundraising Season Has Begun!

It’s never been more important to Stand With Artists. Act Now.

As World Arts West approaches its 50th Anniversary in 2028, we honor the Legacy of elders and ancestors whose stories and traditions shaped cultural dance in California and the United States. We recognize the founders of the first city-sponsored multicultural dance festival in 1978, who also produced diverse initiatives such as a newspaper, arts education programs, and a documentary. Throughout its history, World Arts West has been a multi-faceted organization.

Since 2019, the organization has focused on debt reduction, financial stability, and diversifying funding under CEO Dr. Anne Huang. By embracing diverse programs and initiatives, we were able to secure new sources of funding to diversify revenue. We listened to our community and broadened our programming to become better leaders and advocates for the culture-bearers we serve. We affirmed our commitment to centering artists, expanding our programming, and preserving our archive to ensure the enduring legacy of World Arts West and cultural dance.

Please help our dedicated staff and board safekeep our past and empower the leaders of tomorrow by making a donation today. Join the movement!
