Nominations close on Friday, November 20, 2026

World Arts West is growing its board of directors as we move through our three-year arc toward fifty years in 2028.

Founded in 1978, World Arts West is a nationally-recognized leader in advocating for cultural arts communities. Serving the largest world dance network in the United States, we are a wraparound cultural artist service provider based in San Francisco and a hub for comprehensive capacity-building artist services. We are now in the middle of a three-year arc toward our 50th anniversary in 2028, and we are looking for people who want to help carry this organization into its next fifty years. We are especially interested in candidates with experience in fundraising, advocacy, and communications.

Nominations are open to everyone. You may nominate a colleague, a community member, or yourself.
